Last Wednesday, the DART team had the pleasure of attending the Brownlow Community Health & Men’s Wellbeing Event at the Legahory Centre, Brownlow, and what a fantastic day it was!
We’d like to say a huge thank you to the Promoting Wellbeing Division for inviting us to be part of such an inspiring event, bringing together local organisations that are passionate about improving the health and wellbeing of our communities.

The event was a wonderful opportunity to shine a light on the incredible support networks available across the local area. Throughout the day, visitors were able to take part in activities, workshops and speak directly with organisations offering advice, support and practical help.
At DART, we know that strong communities help build healthier lives, and it was fantastic to meet so many people, make new connections and chat with individuals about how community transport can help people remain independent, connected and active within their local community.
It was also a pleasure to meet and work alongside so many fantastic organisations, including:
Verve Healthy Living Network
Just A Chat
The Fitzone Foundation
Craigavon & Banbridge Volunteer Bureau
Choice Housing
ABC Community Network
Splash Sure Start
…along with many other organisations providing invaluable services across the area.
Days like these remind us just how important partnership working is. By bringing organisations together under one roof, we’re making it easier for people to discover the support available, access local services and improve their overall wellbeing.
If you couldn’t make the event but would like to find out more about DART’s services, or if you’re looking for support from any of the organisations that attended, we’d be delighted to help point you in the right direction.
